2008-01-20 Rome, going around Ancient Rome

Walked around the ruins of the old city. I did a tour around the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill, next to the old city with the emperor's residences. Afterwards I walked past Circus Maximus towards the Tiber (but because I walked almost parallel it quite a while), and then walked along the Tiber bank towards the hotel. Had a pint of Murphies at Sloppy Sam's on Campo de'Fiori. Ate somewhere north of the Pantheon (pizza with beans and sausage).
